relating to education finance; appropriating money for a grant to the Kids In Need
Foundation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; KIDS IN NEED FOUNDATION.

$750,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of education for a grant to the Kids In Need Foundation to provide school supplies to
teachers, students, and schools in Minnesota. This is a onetime appropriation.
