relating to judiciary; providing onetime market adjustment to district court law
clerks' starting salary to align with competitive corridor; appropriating money.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin DISTRICT COURT LAW CLERKS' SALARY; APPROPRIATION.

$2,033,500 in fiscal year 2024 and $2,033,500 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from
the general fund to the supreme court to increase district court law clerks' starting salary.
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.285, the agency must not transfer this
appropriation.
