A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for redevelopment of the
YWCA building and site in St. Paul.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin YWCA ST. PAUL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2023 to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to YWCA St. Paul to predesign and
design the renovation of the YWCA building on Western Avenue in St. Paul. This
appropriation is available when the commissioner of management and budget determines
that sufficient resources have been committed to complete the project, as required by
Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502. This appropriation is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
