relating to environment; appropriating money to demolish and remediate abandoned
Williams School building.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; WILLIAMS SCHOOL BUILDING DEMOLITION.

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the petroleum tank fund to the
commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency for a contamination cleanup grant to Lake
of the Woods County to demolish the abandoned state-owned Williams School building in
the city of Williams and to abate and remediate petroleum, pollutants, or contaminants at
the school site.
