A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to the Irreducible
Grace Foundation to build the Black Youth Healing Arts Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Irreducible Grace Foundation
to appraise and acquire a site for the Black Youth Healing Arts Center and to design,
construct, furnish, and equip the center. This is a onetime appropriation and is available
until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
