A bill for an act
relating to transportation; capital investment; appropriating money for
reconstruction of the interchange at Interstate 35 and County State-Aid Highway
50 in Lakeville.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin INTERSTATE 35 INTERCHANGE PROJECT; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $42,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to Dakota County to address corridor mobility and safety
improvement needs along marked Interstate 35 from approximately the County State-Aid
Highway 50 in Lakeville to County State-Aid Highway 42 in Burnsville. This appropriation
will be used in coordination with the pavement replacement project included in the Minnesota
Department of Transportation 10-Year Capital Highway Improvement Program.
