relating to capital investment; appropriating money to HOPE 4 Youth for a youth
homeless drop-in center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; HOPE 4 YOUTH.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
human services for a grant to HOPE 4 Youth, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to acquire
property, predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip a youth homeless drop-in center
in Anoka County. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned
subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
