A bill for an act
relating to agriculture; appropriating money for grants to certain agricultural
organizations.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR GRANTS TO AGRICULTURAL
ORGANIZATIONS FOR DEVELOPING ENTERPRISES, SUPPLY CHAINS, AND
MARKETS.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
agriculture for grants to organizations in Minnesota to develop enterprises, supply chains,
and markets for continuous living cover crops and cropping systems in the early stage of
commercial development, including regenerative poultry silvopasture systems, Kernza
perennial grain, winter camelina, and elderberry. This is a onetime appropriation.
