relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Walker-West Music
Academy.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; WALKER-WEST ACADEMY.

new text begin $500,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2022 from the general fund to the commissioner
of education for a grant to the Walker-West Music Academy for predesign of a new
educational facility. This appropriation is available when the commissioner of management
and budget determines that sufficient resources have been committed to complete the project,
as required by Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.502. This appropriation is available until
the project is completed or abandoned subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
