relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to the ProStart
and Hospitality Tourism Management Program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the ProStart and Hospitality
Tourism Management Program for a well-established, proven, and successful education
program that helps young people advance careers in the hospitality industry and addresses
critical long-term workforce shortages in that industry.
