A bill for an act
relating to commerce; transferring money to add five peace officers in the
Commerce Fraud Bureau.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$....... in fiscal year 2023 is transferred from the general fund to the insurance fraud
prevention account under Minnesota Statutes, section 45.0135, subdivision 6, to pay for an
additional five full-time peace officers in the Commerce Fraud Bureau. This appropriation
is added to the Department of Commerce base.
