relating to economic development; appropriating money for Joyce Preschool.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin JOYCE PRESCHOOL; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $125,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $125,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from the
workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
for a grant to Joyce Preschool to provide economically challenged individuals the jobs skills
training, career counseling, and job placement assistance necessary to secure a child
development association credential and to have a career path in early childhood education.
This is a onetime appropriation.
