A bill for an act
relating to telecommunications; modifying the definition of local government unit
to include school districts; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 237.162,
subdivision 2.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 237.162, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
Subd. 2.
Local government unit.
"Local government unit" means a county, home rule
charter or statutory city, town, new text begin school district, new text end or the Metropolitan Council.
