A bill for an act
 relating to agriculture; increasing funding for the agriculture best management
practices loan program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AGRICULTURE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES LOAN
PROGRAM; TRANSFER.

new text begin $15,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 is transferred from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture for deposit in the agricultural and environmental revolving loan account
established under Minnesota Statutes, section 17.117, subdivision 5a, for low-interest loans
to farmers, rural landowners, and agricultural businesses through the agriculture best
management practices loan program. This is a onetime transfer.
