BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TELESCOPES FOR LIBRARIES.

$96,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $96,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of education to provide grants in equal
amounts to the 12 Minnesota regional library systems to purchase telescopes for public
libraries.
