relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to the Hmong
Chamber of Commerce; requiring a report.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
employment and economic development for a grant to the Hmong Chamber of Commerce
to provide training for existing and potential small business owners. This is a onetime
appropriation and is available until June 30, 2022. By January 15, 2022, the Hmong Chamber
of Commerce shall report to the commissioner on the outcomes of the grant.
