A bill for an act
relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to Lake
Superior College.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$100,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Lake Superior
College for their truck driving certification program. Grant funds may be used to purchase
training vehicles and driving simulators for the program. This is a onetime appropriation
and must be matched by nonstate sources or in-kind contributions.
