A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money to improve quality of forest
inventory data.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; IMPROVE QUALITY OF FOREST INVENTORY
DATA.

$ 1,500,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources to improve the quality of forest
inventory data on state-administered lands by increasing collection of field data and use of
technology.
