A bill for an act
relating to health; appropriating money to the commissioner of health for grants
for Lyme disease research.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LYME DISEASE RESEARCH.

$....... in fiscal year 2020 and $....... in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the general
fund to the commissioner of health for grants to entities and organizations to perform research
on Lyme disease. The commissioner shall determine the entities and organizations eligible
for grants and the types of research projects eligible for grants.
