A bill for an act
 relating to the military; authorizing resident hunting and fishing licenses to be
issued to active military members; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section
97A.465, subdivision 3.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 97A.465, subdivision 3, is amended to read:


Subd. 3.

The commissioner may issue a resident license to take fish or game to deleted text begin a person indeleted text end new text begin

This subdivision does not apply to the taking of moose or elk.
