A bill for an act
 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for educational
programming and academic support in northeastern Minnesota.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated to the commissioner of the Department of
Employment and Economic Development from the workforce development fund for transfer
to the Cook County Higher Education Board to provide educational programming and
academic support services to remote regions in northeastern Minnesota. This appropriation
is in addition to other funds previously appropriated for transfer to the board.
