A bill for an act
relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for the Children's
Discovery Museum in Grand Rapids.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CHILDREN'S DISCOVERY MUSEUM.

new text begin $200,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to the
Children's Discovery Museum in Grand Rapids to:

new text begin (1) design and build interactive exhibits;

new text begin (2) develop a hands-on learning outreach program; and
new text end

new text begin (3) improve the campus exterior.
