A bill for an act
 relating to human services; appropriating money for the Minnesota eligibility
system.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $5,250,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $5,250,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of human services, for development of the Minnesota
eligibility system, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 62V.055, subdivision 1, and to
improve system functionality for purposes of county eligibility determinations. This is a
onetime appropriation and shall not be added to the base.
