relating to agriculture; appropriating money to implement the noxious weed grant
program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin NOXIOUS WEED GRANT PROGRAM.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commission of agriculture for deposit in the noxious weed and invasive
plant species assistance account established under Minnesota Statutes, section 18.89, to be
used to implement the noxious weed grant program under Minnesota Statutes, section 18.90.
