A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Agricultural Utilization
Research Institute upgrades.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AGRICULTURAL UTILIZATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE (AURI).

new text begin $690,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of agriculture for
a grant to the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) for construction of a
development kitchen, sensory lab, and safety and security upgrades at AURI's Marshall
facility and for communications and information technology upgrades at the Crookston,
Marshall, and Waseca facilities.
