A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money for the Cook County Higher
Education Board.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS.

$360,000 in fiscal year 2018 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for transfer to the Cook County
Higher Education Board to provide educational programming and academic support services
to remote regions in northeastern Minnesota. This appropriation and transfer is in addition
to other funds previously transferred by the board of trustees.
