 relating to taxation; property; waiving local appeal and equalization course
training for township officers.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin 2016 TOWNSHIP BOARD APPEALS AND EQUALIZATION
COURSE WAIVER.

new text begin Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the requirement of Minnesota
Statutes, section 274.014, subdivision 2, that at least one member of the local board of
appeal and equalization has attended an appeals and equalization course training within
the last four years shall be waived in 2016 for members of a township board.
