relating to natural resources; appropriating money for Wolf Ridge Environmental
Learning Center improvements.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING CENTER GRANT;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $3,500,000 in fiscal year 2017 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of natural resources for a grant to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning
Center to construct a new dormitory, renovate an old dormitory, construct a maintenance
building, and construct a small classroom building with parking. The grant is not available
until the commissioner of management and budget determines that an amount sufficient to
complete the project is available from nonstate sources. This appropriation is available
until June 30, 2020.
