relating to education; permitting Independent School District No. 2534, Bird
Island-Olivia-Lake Lillian, to start the school year before Labor Day.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin BIRD ISLAND-OLIVIA-LAKE LILLIAN; SCHOOL START DATE
BEFORE LABOR DAY.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120A.40, for the 2015-2016 school
year only, Independent School District No. 2534, Bird Island-Olivia-Lake Lillian, may
start the school year on the Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday before Labor Day.
