response activities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AVIAN INFLUENZA EMERGENCY RESPONSE.

new text begin (a) $514,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2015 from the general fund to the
commissioner of agriculture for the costs of avian influenza emergency response activities
not covered by federal funding. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until
June 30, 2016.

new text begin (b) $379,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2015 from the general fund to the Board of
Animal Health for the costs of avian influenza emergency response activities not covered
by federal funding. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2016.
