A bill for an act
relating to workforce development; appropriating money for the pathway to the
preservation trades program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$685,000 in fiscal year 2016 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Northern Bedrock
Historic Preservation Corps for the pathway to the preservation trades program for
recruitment of corps members, engagement of technical specialists, development of a
certificate program, and skill development in historic preservation for youth ages 18 to 25.
This is a onetime appropriation and is available until expended.
