relating to education; permitting Independent School District No. 347, Willmar,
to start the school year before Labor Day.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin WILLMAR; SCHOOL START DATE BEFORE LABOR DAY.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120A.40, for the 2015-2016 school
year only, Independent School District No. 347, Willmar, may start the school year on
the Monday before Labor Day but may not hold school on the Friday immediately before
Labor Day.
