A bill for an act
 relating to education; permitting Independent School District No. 2164,
Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, Independent School District No. 146, Barnesville,
and Independent School District No. 2854, Ada-Borup, to start the school year
before Labor Day.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin DILWORTH-GLYNDON-FELTON; BARNESVILLE; ADA-BORUP;
SCHOOL START DATE BEFORE LABOR DAY.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 120A.40, for the 2015-2016 school
year only, Independent School District No. 2164, Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, Independent
School District No. 146, Barnesville, and Independent School District No. 2854,
Ada-Borup, may start the school year on the Tuesday before Labor Day but may not hold
school on the Friday immediately before Labor Day.
