A bill for an act
relating to employment; appropriating money for a grant to Big Brothers Big
Sisters.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS.

$250,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated from
the workforce development fund for a grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater
Twin Cities for workforce readiness, employment exploration, and skills development for
youth ages 12 to 21. The grant must serve youth in the Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters
in the Twin Cities, Central Minnesota, and Southern Minnesota.
