A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money to the commissioner of human
services for the Minnesota Security Hospital and state-operated mental health
and forensic services.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATIONS; DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES.

new text begin (a) $5,545,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $5,645,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of human services for ongoing expenditures
at the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter as required by the conditional licenses
issued to the facility.

new text begin (b) $2,160,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $4,359,000 in fiscal year 2017 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of human services for an operating adjustment
for state-operated mental health and forensic services.
