A bill for an act
 relating to state government; appropriating money to the Minnesota Humanities
Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
Humanities Center for professional development for kindergarten through grade 12
educators to better culturally engage their work with at-risk student populations. This may
include new and original literature that addresses literacy of emerging cultural communities.
