A bill for an act
relating to health; prohibiting a physician from charging a fee to perform an
abortion; amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 145.412, by adding a
subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 145.412, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

It shall be unlawful for a physician to charge a fee
or receive any compensation, either directly or indirectly, for performing an abortion,
including any payments made by a health plan company or a patient's employer.
