A bill for an act
relating to health insurance; requiring a report of the number of uninsured
enrolling through MNsure.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin REPORT ON MNSURE ENROLLMENT OF UNINSURED.

new text begin MNsure, in consultation with the commissioners of human services, commerce, and
health, shall determine the number of individuals and families who through MNsure have
enrolled in a qualified health plan, medical assistance, or MinnesotaCare by March 31,
2014, and did not have health coverage prior to enrollment. MNsure shall submit a report
to the legislature by October 1, 2014, specifying the number of individuals and families
who are now insured and whether these individuals and families enrolled in a qualified
health plan, medical assistance, or MinnesotaCare.
