2E Relating to public safety; modifying certain driving while impaired (DWI) provisions relating to license plate impoundment violations for employer owned motor vehicles not equipped with an ignition interlock device, certain law enforcement implied consent advisory requirements for chemical tests of intoxication, and providing regulations for reinstatement of driving privileges for persons committing certain criminal vehicle operation offenses; expanding certain drivers license provisions relating to revocation periods, suspension requirements for criminal vehicle operation and manslaughter, and conditions for issuance of a limited license for certain persons committing criminal vehicle operation offenses; expanding the ignition interlock device program to include criminal vehicle operation offenders; requiring certification of probable cause by peace officer for criminal vehicular operation and manslaughter and requiring the peace officer to notify the commissioner of public safety; allowing participants in the original ignition interlock device program to drive noninterlock equipped employer-owned vehicles under certain conditions; repealing certain department of public safety rules relating to suspension and revocation of drivers licenses for criminal vehicular offenses
