relating to water; appropriating money to synthesize groundwater quality and
quantity data.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin GROUNDWATER DATA APPROPRIATION.

$....... in fiscal year 2014 is appropriated from the clean water fund to the
commissioner of natural resources to synthesize available groundwater quantity and
quality data from state agencies and political subdivisions. Of this amount, $....... is for
transfer to the Minnesota Geospatial Information Office for compiling and distributing
groundwater quality and quantity data.
