A bill for an act
relating to education finance; appropriating money for the Minnesota Principals'
Academy.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA PRINCIPALS' ACADEMY; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $235,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $215,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of education for a grant to the University
of Minnesota, College of Education and Human Development, for the operation of
the Minnesota Principals' Academy. Any balance in the first year does not cancel but
is available in the second year. The base appropriation for this program for fiscal year
2016 and later is $250,000.
