relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for Minnesota
Zoological Garden.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA ZOOLOGICAL GARDEN.

new text begin $4,750,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2014 from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Minnesota Zoological Board for the Minnesota Zoological Garden. Of that amount:

new text begin (1) $925,000 is for wildlife conservation research projects;
new text end

new text begin (2) $3,075,000 is for conservation education projects;
new text end

new text begin (3) $300,000 is for exhibit extension and special events at the Minnesota Family
Farm; and
new text end

new text begin (4) $450,000 is for habitat and water quality improvements.
