A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; requiring the commissioner of transportation to
establish wireless Internet service at safety rest areas.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE AT SAFETY REST AREAS.

new text begin The commissioner of transportation shall make wireless Internet service available at
safety rest areas. The commissioner shall utilize private sources of funds to the extent
available by entering into public-private partnerships and arranging for sponsorships in
exchange for reasonable publicity for the private partner.
