Relating to redistricting
ARTICLE 1 - REDISTRICTING
Prescribing the number of legislative districts for the senate and house of representatives and specifying restrictions, requirements, and prohibitions for the districts; establishing an intermittent redistricting commission and prescribing duties, membership, and expiration; specifying a precinct boundary reestablishment deadline
ARTICLE 2 - LEGISLATIVE COMPENSATION COUNCIL
Establishing a legislative compensation council and an executive and judicial council for purposes of determining compensation, specifying membership
ARTICLE 3 - CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS
Requiring continuing appropriations, statutory spending reductions, and revenue increases in odd-numbered years predicting budget deficits for the next budget biennium, providing appropriations continuance at base level, exceptions, adjustments, automatic spending cuts and tax increase
ARTICLE 4 - UNALLOTMENT
Requiring a general fund balance analysis with forecast after legislative session that modify general fund revenues or expenditures, allowing unallotments and specifying a limit
ARTICLE 5 - LEGISLATIVE INTEGRITY
Requiring legislative meetings to be open to the public; prohibiting legislative employment of persons serving as officers of the statewide organization of a major political party; requiring web posting of senate and house of representatives record retention and access procedures; expanding campaign finance and public disclosure economic interest forms to include spousal information and independent contract disclosure
