relating to appropriations; prohibiting disproportionate reductions to
Metropolitan Council for regional parks.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin METROPOLITAN COUNCIL REGIONAL PARKS
APPROPRIATION.

The appropriation in the biennium ending June 30, 2013, to the Metropolitan
Council for regional parks shall not be reduced from the previous biennium by a greater
percentage than the appropriation to the commissioner of natural resources for state parks.
