relating to history and cultural heritage; appropriating money to the Minnesota
Zoo.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA ZOO.

new text begin $2,470,250 in fiscal year 2012 and $2,175,050 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated
from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the Minnesota Zoological Board for programs
and projects that preserve or promote Minnesota's history and cultural heritage. The
Minnesota Zoological Board may allocate up to $161,000 in the first year and $123,000 in
the second year for program evaluation, financial administration, and reporting.
