1.11We, the undersigned conferees for S.F. No. 230 report that we have agreed upon the
1.12items in dispute and recommend as follows:
1.13That the House recede from its amendments and that S.F. No. 230 be further
1.14amended as follows:
1.15Page 10, after line 33, insert:
1.16 "Sec. 6. new text begin NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT STUDY.new text end
1.17new text begin (a) The commissioner of health shall, in consultation with the Office of Rural Health new text end
1.18new text begin and Primary Care, nurse contract bargaining units, the Board of Nursing, professional new text end
1.19new text begin nurse organizations, long-term care associations, hospitals and health systems, and the new text end
1.20new text begin Nurse Licensure Compact administrators, study and prepare a report for the governor on new text end
1.21new text begin the impact of adoption of the Nurse Licensure Compact in Minnesota on the following new text end

1.28new text begin Board of Nursing licensure fee revenues and to individual nurses if the nurse licensure new text end
1.29new text begin compact is adopted;new text end
2.1new text begin (3) the impact on regulatory oversight of nurses in terms of disciplinary actions;new text end
2.2new text begin (4) the impact on labor relations in states that have adopted the nurse licensure new text end
2.3new text begin compact, to the extent this impact can be determined;new text end
2.4new text begin (5) reducing duplication of nurse licensure;new text end
2.5new text begin (6) the variations in qualifications, scope of practice, licensure standards, and new text end
2.6new text begin licensure fees between Minnesota and states that are members of the compact; andnew text end
