relating to natural resources; appropriating money for Darvan Acres Nature
Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin DARVAN ACRES NATURE CENTER; DAKOTA COUNTY.

new text begin (a) $....... is appropriated from the outdoor heritage fund to the commissioner of
natural resources for a grant to Dakota County to acquire and restore approximately 250
acres of land in Dakota County.

new text begin (b) $....... is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for a grant to Dakota County to predesign, design, and develop the
Darvan Acres Nature Center to provide education and outdoor opportunities to preserve
Minnesota's cultural heritage of outdoor recreation.
