BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin (a) $....... is appropriated for fiscal year 2011 from the general fund to the Board of
Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU) for the continuation
of a clinical coordination project that has been developed by MNSCU to coordinate
student activity at clinical sites used for clinical education experiences within health
care education programs.

new text begin (b) MNSCU is encouraged to apply for any applicable federal grants available
through the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Public Law 111-148, or the
Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, Public Law 111-152, that would
further the development and the expansion of the clinical coordination project to other
health care occupations and other health care workforce training issues.
