A bill for an act
relating to human services; requiring the closure of six beds in an intermediate
care facility in Red Wing; providing a rate increase for the remaining beds;
appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256B.5013, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 256B.5013, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding section 256B.5012, a 24-bed
intermediate care facility for persons with developmental disabilities in Red Wing with
a per diem rate of $187.41 on February 1, 2010, shall decertify six beds as of July 1,
2010. The per diem for the remaining 18 beds shall be increased to $212.40, effective
July 1, 2010.
